Within the church family people are at different stages in developing their faith, regardless of their age. To cater for this variation, we have developed programmes to provide regular support and growth outside the pattern of Sunday worship.
S Club
Children and young people can progressively move from Creche (0-3), JOY (3-11) and TWITS (11-16). Each Sunday there is a mix of activities, typically games, bible-based story or drama, craft, and music. These programmes are designed to give children an awareness of Christian principles and their application to everyday life.
TWITS (Talking With Interest Together on Sundays) is a lively group where young people are challenged to live out their faith and to take action on various inequalities and injustice.
House Fellowships
Two house groups meet on Monday, and Thursday respectively, often working on a common theme. During Lent and Advent open groups are run.
Network
A number of events are organised throughout the Methodist Church Circuit in support of charities. This year the charity is Domestic Violence in Warrington.
Weekly Devotions
Recognising that in today's life style, weekly attendance at Church is not always possible, we prepare weekly devotions for people to study during their quiet time throughout the week. These are included in the weekly notices, and posted on the website (see devotions link)
